About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Steward, you will be responsible for ensuring accommodation areas, dining facilities, and galley support operations are maintained to the highest standards. Your contribution will help create a comfortable, clean, and welcoming environment for all personnel onboard.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve meals and provide excellent customer service to onboard personnel.

• Clean and maintain mess rooms, cabins, accommodation areas, and common spaces.

• Support galley operations and assist with food preparation when required.

• Carry out pantry duties and maintain cleanliness standards.

• Perform laundry services.

• Assist the Chief Cook and Night Cook as directed.

• Ensure all catering activities comply with established procedures, food safety standards, and hygiene requirements.

• Undertake additional duties as required to support offshore operations.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in hospitality, catering, housekeeping, cleaning, or accommodation services.

• Training or knowledge in food hygiene, personal hygiene, and safe food handling practices.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

• A positive, team-focused attitude and commitment to providing excellent service.

• Ability to work in a structured offshore environment and follow procedures.

• Commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, environmental responsibility, and workplace integrity.

Essential Requirements

• Valid offshore survival certification applicable to the region of work.

• Current and valid offshore medical fitness certificate.

• Relevant training and competencies for offshore catering operations.

• Ability to meet pre-employment and offshore mobilisation requirements.
