QC Supervisor
Offshore & Subsea Projects
Location: Equatorial Guinea
Are you a quality professional with a passion for offshore operations and subsea projects? We are seeking an experienced QC Supervisor to be the on-site quality focal point supporting critical offshore mobilisations, pipe handling operations, fabrication activities, metrology, and system integration testing.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering complex offshore projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence are achieved throughout every stage of execution.
Key Responsibilities
Offshore Mobilisation & Quay-Side Operations

Lead quality control activities during offshore mobilisation and vessel load-out operations.

Verify the readiness and compliance of materials, equipment, and documentation prior to mobilisation.

Ensure all activities are executed in accordance with approved procedures, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), lifting plans, and method statements.

Conduct inspections during lifting, handling, load-out, sea fastening, and transportation activities.

Identify quality concerns proactively and ensure timely resolution.
Pipe Handling, Inspection & Client Handover

Perform quality inspections of pipes and associated materials, ensuring:

Full identification and traceability

Coating integrity and overall condition
-
Compliance following lifting and handling operations
-

Verify lifting arrangements and handling equipment meet project and safety requirements.

Coordinate and document material handovers between client and contractor.
-
Raise, manage, and close out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where required.
Spool Fabrication & Metrology Support
-
Provide quality oversight during spool fabrication and metrology activities.
-
Verify dimensional inspections and tolerance requirements are achieved.
-
Review survey and metrology reports for compliance and accuracy.
-
Support fabrication quality activities including fit-up inspections, welding verification, and coating repair assessments.
System Integration Testing (SIT)
-
Witness and support SIT and pre-commissioning activities when required.

Ensure testing activities are performed in accordance with approved procedures.

Review test results and documentation.

Track punch list items through to completion and final acceptance.
Quality Documentation & Reporting

Review and endorse inspection records, test reports, and QC documentation.

Maintain accurate and auditable quality records throughout the project lifecycle.

Provide regular progress updates and quality reports to Project Quality Management.

Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with contractual requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement

Serve as the primary quality representative on site in Equatorial Guinea.

Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, offshore teams, construction personnel, operations teams, and HSE representatives.

Promote a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
-
Proven experience in Quality Control within the offshore, subsea, oil & gas, marine, or energy sectors.

Hands-on experience supporting offshore mobilisation and quay-side operations.
-
Strong knowledge of pipe handling, lifting operations, and material inspections.
-
Experience with spool fabrication, dimensional control, and metrology activities.
-
Exposure to System Integration Testing (SIT), commissioning, or pre-commissioning activities.
-
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, procedures, and quality documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
-
Technical qualification in Mechanical, Structural, Welding, Quality, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

Strong understanding of quality management systems, inspection processes, and industry standards.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused approach.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
