"TRS is looking for a TECHNICAL SAFETY ENGINEER – RISK ANALYSIS to support in the execution and/or coordination of the risk assessments and consequences analysis within the technical safety engineering activities, for different project phases, from Feasibility Studies to Front-End and Detail Engineering design for our international client’s Projects based in SAUDI ARABIA."
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Support in the management of and perform the risks analysis activities (BRA, QRA, FERA, etc.) and RAM analysis for different designs and arrangements.
- Support the Technical Safety Leader in the meetings/interface with Clients on technical issues on the methodologies, assumption registers and findings relating to risk assessments and RAM analysis.
- Preparation and participation to Client meetings.
- Support the Technical Safety Leader in the evaluation of suppliers and sub-contractor bids involved in the risk assessment studies and RAM analysis.
- Support in the management of sub-contractors and Suppliers.
- Confident writing of reports and technical documentation.
- Contribute to the development and to the continuous technical improvement of internal work methodologies and procedures.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technical disciplines.
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ proven experience in Fire Safety and Risk Assessment methodology and activities within the Oil & Gas Industry, ideally both for onshore and offshore fields.
- Understanding of safety studies and risk management, e.g. QRA, FERA, BRA, etc.
- A minimum knowledge of industry standard consequence modelling and risk software (e.g. PHAST, Safeti, etc.) is required.
- Experience in RAM analysis is preferred, but not strictly required.
- Advanced knowledge of English language. Ideally, candidates will be able to demonstrate excellent report writing.
- Good skills in the most common MS Office applications and Office365 suite.
