To focus on small diesel generators, that have been designed for industrial use in a wide range of applications including telecommunications, off-grid operations, rail, and military contracts.
The purpose of this role is to provide specialist technical expertise in several key areas:
- Operational support to customers and the office-based team by acting as contact for technical issues
- Design and innovation to address customer specific issues
- Strong technical knowledge of small diesel generators (mobile and fixed), ancillary equipment and full installs
- Sound working knowledge of electrical regulations for mobile equipment and fixed electrical installations
- The job may require an element of working out-of-hours, overnight stays, overseas travel and weekend work where necessary
