Location: Northern Cape, Postmasburg

Qualification Requirement:
• Grade 12 (Required);
• GCC Certificate Opencast and Underground Mines (Required);
• National Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (Required).
Experience and other requirements:
• Eight (8) Years Engineering or Maintenance Services and Projects Experience (Required);
• Five (5) Years Section Engineer, Planned Maintenance and Workshop Management Experience in a Trackless Mobile Machinery and Rail or Heavy Engineering Industry (Required);
• Five (5) Years Management Experience (Required);
• Valid Code B Driving License (Required).
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
• Professional Status: ECSA (Recommended)
• Behavioural Competency: Business Acumen, People Leadership Skills, Relationship Building Skills, Results Driven Person and Change Leadership Skills;
• System Skills: Electronic Document Management Systems, Enterprise Resource Planning, Information Management Systems, Production Performance Management System, Learning Management Systems, Microsoft Office, SHERQ Systems;
• Legal Requirements: Section 2.13.1 MHSA;
• Technical Competency: Generic Engineering.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, implement, control and monitor approved changes;
• Business intelligence and trend analysis;
• Functional process optimisation;
• Implement operations effectiveness model and practice;
• Promote and enforce compliance;
• Plan, direct and assess quality management within function;
• Provide input into functional planning activities;
• Micro- and macro- economic awareness;
• TMM engineering management functions;
• Comply with IMS standards;
• Implement cost control systems;
• Maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships;
• Implement and manage people development initiatives;
• Personal development and identification of training ga
