SUMMARY
Our client has multiple contractual opportunities at their project site located in Saint John, New Brunswick in support of fall shut down work from September to November 2021. We are seeking up to eight (8) qualified and ambitious team players with a positive attitude that promotes teamwork as they continue their tremendous success on the project.
These positions require someone who takes initiatives, has great customer service, takes direction with ease and is able to work independently with minimal supervision with general tooling experience/knowledge.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Issuing and receiving tools/consumables to onsite craft labor
• Using the Client STAR program for online tool tracking
• Inventory of tools, inspect tools and equipment for wear or defects
• Ship and receive materials and equipment (load/clean equipment)
• Organize materials and tools for the worksite
• Maintain cleanliness in the shop and yard
• Present missing/overdue tool / equipment reports to supervision
• Maintain equipment and tools
• Create requisitions for replenishing low stock
• Maintain records of tool/equipment use
• Keep proper/updated certifications on all tools and MSDS sheets for consumables
• Ensure cycle counts are accomplished on a daily basis
QUALIFICATIONS
• Negative Pre-Access Drug & Alcohol testing required for this site position
• Valid Class 5 drivers (with a clean abstract), IEC
• Computer knowledge and experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills
o Working with all levels with internal and external clients
SKILS CONSIDERED AN ASSET
• Experience in equipment and tool maintenance
• Knowledge of heavy industrial service materials and tools, and their proper handling,
• Storage and preparation for work sites
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, and strong work ethic
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced changing environment
• Positive attitude and compliance towards safety
