Training Specialist

Our client, a leading EPCM with projects worldwide, is currently recruiting for a Training Specialist to join their team in Kitimat, BC. This candidate will be responsible for providing new hires with orientations and training courses.
 

In this very exciting role, the qualified candidate will support the project by delivering required training programs in an engaging manner to new employees. Some duties include creating diverse instruction techniques for the different audiences that are on site, reviewing course curriculum, and conducting student evaluations.

Qualifications:
-          Presentation delivery skills and previous experience
-          5 years of related experience in training – adult education or apprenticeship/trades
-          Completion of Train the Trainer certification, Provincial Instructor Diploma, or equivalent
-          Construction industry experience preferred
-          Locals to Terrace and Kitimat are preferred
