Applications Manager – Edmonton

We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Manager to join a leading energy services provider in Edmonton. In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of four Applications Engineers, providing technical direction and ensuring high‑quality proposal development for equipment packages used in gas processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 4 Applications Engineers, ensuring strong technical output and high‑quality proposal delivery.
• Support Sales and Regional Account Managers by interpreting client requirements and gas‑processing RFPs.
• Oversee coordination with Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation, and Process Engineering teams for proposal design development.
• Prepare and review cost estimates, formal quotations, P&IDs, and preliminary GA drawings.
• Evaluate vendor quotations for equipment commonly used in gas processing (separators, treaters, dehydrators, compressors, filtration, etc.).
• Provide technical guidance to project management, drafting, and production teams throughout execution.
• Lead proposal handoff meetings after award and ensure proposals are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
• Drive continuous improvement and process enhancements across the applications engineering workflow.
