TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an Area Lead (Mining) role to work for an amazing EPCM client in Calgary, AB.
This senior lead position is responsible for overseeing procurement, fabrication, and construction projects, with a focus on underground scope in the mining industry.
The key responsibilities include
• Ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Contract management.
• Project leadership.
• Cost and schedule control.
• Collaboration with various teams and managing personnel.
Basic requirements include:
• Minimum of 25 years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field.
• Project management experience.
• Ability to work internationally.
Preferred qualifications include:
• Track record of successful project management.
• Expertise in underground projects.
• Knowledge of regulatory processes.
• Experience in various aspects of mining operations
