Business Development Representative

Our client is a major player in the construction industry and are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Calgary, AB. In this role you will design, execute, and track the outcomes of initiatives aimed at creating fresh connections and opportunities, acquiring new clients, and generating recurrent business. You will track and evaluate economic and market information and deliver management reports to support corporate business and strategic planning.

Key Job Duties:
• Manage the client relationship through the preconstruction process
• Keep up to date of market trends, and competitor analysis
• Build personal relationships with key target groups
• Develop and implement a communication plan for target groups and past customers
• Find and track leads in the surrounding area

Key Qualifications:
• University degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing or Business related discipline
• Experience with IBM PC, MS Office, and database programs
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate co-workers and suppliers
• Experience with Marketing, Sales, and Advertising
