Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 2Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in PHE design and coordination on large scale infrastructure projects. (Aviation is preferable)
- 3. Strong knowledge and experience in design development of water supply, sewerage, stormwater drainage, plumbing networks, and treatment systems.
- Familiarity with sizing and design of water storage, pumping systems, STPs, WTPs, and rainwater harvesting facilities.
- Ability to read, interpret and validate PHE designs, hydraulic calculations, layouts, schematics, shop drawings and material submittals
Roles and responsibilities.
- Good understanding of PHE quality control parameters and relevant inspection/testing requirements.
- Knowledge of applicable national and international codes (NBC, CPHEEO, IS Standards, etc.).
- Ability to coordinate with structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines for design and installation alignment.
- Able to review site execution plans and guide construction teams with approved designs and procedures.
- Experience in resolving design-construction conflicts and updating designs based on site conditions.
- Good understanding of quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, and technical specifications.
- Fully familiar with site safety requirements.
- Experience in preparing technical reports, compliance documents, as-built drawings and handover documentation
