About the role
TRS Staffing is currently searching for a Civil Field Engineer to join our esteemed clients team based in Port Hedland. This position is based on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth.
Duties and responsibilities
- Support the delivery of civil works on a FIFO mining project
- Assist supervisors with day‑to‑day site engineering tasks
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and client teams
- Check drawings and ensure works are built to specification
- Track progress, materials, and site activities
- Maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards on site
- Complete basic reporting and project documentation
Skills and experience required
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Experience working on civil construction or mining projects
- Ability to work on site in a FIFO environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with site teams
- Good understanding of safety, quality, and construction standards
- Recent experience working at Albemarle or Hope Downs will be highly regarded
