Responsibilities:
- Promote inclusive leadership and support workforce development through coaching and mentorship.
- Oversee subcontractor selection, onboarding, and performance to meet safety and quality expectations.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to construction standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and cost control initiatives across all active projects.
- Drive innovation through modern construction technologies and methodologies.
- Negotiate and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and operational standards.
- Manage infrastructure construction projects across Western Canada, including transit systems, industrial track installations, and specialized civil works.
- Develop operational strategies that improve efficiency, mitigate risks, and support long-term growth.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction, with 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred.
- Experience in transportation or rail-related infrastructure.
- Proven track record in contract management, client relations, and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of project delivery systems, regulatory frameworks, and construction standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is an asset.
