DISCIPLINE: ENGINEERING AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT
LOCATION: GABON, OFFSHORE
DURATION: CONTRACT
SALARY: MARKET RELATED

“TRS is seeking a Control Room Operator with Oil and Gas Offshore project experience to join our Client’s project team, will be accountable for all day-to-day activities with emphasis on Safety, Production and SIMOPS. This role will be based Offshore in GABON.”
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Monitor all systems of the facility and report production data.
• Notify the PIC of any changes detrimental to production volumes.
• Ensure control system stays with-in parameters of established safety protocol.
• Gives final permission to PTW system.
• Owner of by-pass log.
• Monitors fire and gas system.
• Communicates to PIC any issues with Delta V system.
• Communicates with Maintenance Techs and Op.Techs issues with production equipment.
• Maintain well status sheets.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited qualification / academic training suitable to hold this position.
• Minimum 10 years of directly related experience in the Oil and Gas industry (including OFFSHORE).
• Valid and up to date BOSIET Certificate.
• To have a full working knowledge of every equipment in the facility along with proficiency to read PID’s and C&E charts.
• Communication skills.
• Computer knowledge (Excel / Word).
• Complete understanding of safety systems associated with offshore facilities and work procedures.
• Proficiency with Delta V – HMI system and ability to communicate any issues with Delta V system to appropriate vendor.
• Assist the logistic communication by radio when urgently need.
