Cost Control Manager

Our client is one of the region's leading Oil & Gas industrial services companies, also specializing in construction, EPC contracts, fabrication and and are looking for a Cost Control Manager to be base in Jubail, Saudi Arabia to work on industrial oil & gas projects.

Due to international travel and visa restrictions, candidates MUST be currently based in Saudi Arabia and have a Transferable Iqama.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop accurate costs to complete estimates and percent complete evaluations. Understand and report on the cash flow position of the project.
• Prepare, review and analyze job cost reporting to assist project teams in understanding project cost details, project charges, and other project accounting issues.
• Track, monitor, and report planned budgets/forecast vs. actual spend. Provide variance explanations and possible recovery plan actions.
• Delivery monthly reporting of project results to Accounting and Department Management. Supervise and ensure the integrity of project financials in the company’s financial reporting system.
• Assist with the preparation, processing and tracking of contract Change Orders.
• Track internal and external invoicing and reconciliation of cash receipts and retention.
• Track subcontractors invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
• Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budgets and reporting of the key performance indicators for the project.
• Monitor the financial “health” of the project and raise the “red flag” when a negative impact or condition arises.
• Assist AR and Project Managers with collections as required..
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, with the potential of working on projects in multiple departments.
• Contribute to the evaluation and development of project strategy responsible for performance.
• Prepare cost forecasts and trend analysis.
• Evaluate schedule impacts.
• Perform other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business Management or QS
• Minimum 15 years Cost Control Experience
• Experience in large Oil& Gas and Industrial Construction Projects
• Candidate must be proficient with industry-standard cost management, estimating, and project controls software, and should be familiar with scheduling.
• Excellent English Language Skills
