Job Title: Digitalization Analyst
Experience: 2 to 3 Years
Job Location: Bangalore/ Pune

Education:

• PhD in Chemical Engineering (preferred), Mechanical Engineering, Industrial and Operations Research.
• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred), Mechanical Engineering, Industrial and Operations Research and 2-3 years of relevant experience.

Job Responsibility

• Priority will be given to candidates with industrial experience in applying optimization and analytics to solve business problems;
• Experience in optimization architecture development & discrete, continuous & event time mathematical linear and/or mixed integer formulation development is preferred.
• Knowledge of innovation / problem solving skills (such as six sigma, lean tools), benchmarking & benefit estimation is preferred.
• Must be able to interface with internal business partners, external vendors and customers from a variety of cultures and business backgrounds;
• Self-directed individual with good interpersonal and communication & conflict management skills.
1-2 years R&D or engineering experiences in advanced optimization, statistics and data analysis / mining

Skills:
• Technical knowledge in optimization, data mining & analysis and data visualization techniques
• Technical knowledge in the area of video analytics, image analysis & text mining is preferred
• Hand on experience on software such as FICO, GAMS, R, Python, Tableau etc
• Knowledge about problem-solving (Six Sigma, Design thinking, etc) methodologies will be an added advantage
• Strong communications skills (effective presentations at all levels, negotiation, conflict resolution)
• Language Skills – Fluent in both written and spoken English
