For our client we are currently seeking an experienced E&I Superintendent to join the team delivering this project, a high‑profile mining and metals development in Greece.

The E&I Superintendent will be responsible for managing all electrical and instrumentation construction activities within their assigned project areas, with a strong emphasis on infrastructure systems such as HV/MV networks, substations, and overhead power lines. This role ensures that all E&I works are executed safely, according to design, and in alignment with project specifications, schedule, and quality requirements. Mining industry experience is preferred due to the technical nature of the processing facility and associated infrastructure.

This is a key leadership role for the remaining duration of the project (10–12 months).

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all Electrical & Instrumentation construction activities, ensuring safe and compliant execution.
• Oversee installation and testing of HV/MV electrical systems, substations, overhead lines, transformers, switchgear, and related infrastructure.
• Ensure E&I installation works meet project technical requirements, engineering specifications, and international standards.
• Work closely with engineering, construction management, subcontractors, and commissioning teams to ensure alignment on priorities.
• Review construction drawings, method statements, and technical documents to validate accuracy and constructability.
• Monitor contractor performance, progress, productivity, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Identify and mitigate risks affecting E&I activities or system energization timelines.
• Support turnover and commissioning teams during energization, loop checks, functional testing, and system handover.
• Promote safety culture and ensure implementation of all HSE requirements during execution.
• Report progress, issues, and milestones to project leadership.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation supervision on large industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience with HV/MV electrical infrastructure, including substations, overhead power lines, and other high-voltage systems (mandatory).
• Preferably experience in mining or minerals processing projects.
• Strong understanding of E&I construction practices, safety requirements, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be an EU citizen or already authorised to work in Greece (visa sponsorship cannot be offered due to project timelines).
