For our client we are currently seeking an experienced M&P Superintendent to join the team delivering this project, a high‑profile mining and metals development in Greece.

The M&P Superintendent will oversee all mechanical and piping construction activities within assigned areas of the processing plant. This includes installation supervision for critical mining‑related equipment such as conveyors, crushers, mills, tanks, pumps, and piping systems. The role ensures construction is executed in accordance with design, technical specifications, safety requirements, and project schedule.

This is a key leadership role for the remaining duration of the project (10–12 months).

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, coordinate, and manage all mechanical and piping construction activities within assigned areas.
• Oversee installation of major mining process equipment, including conveyors, crushers, mills, tanks, piping systems, and related mechanical assemblies.
• Ensure all mechanical and piping works meet project specifications, quality standards, and engineering documentation.
• Monitor contractor performance, productivity, and adherence to safety and environmental requirements.
• Review mechanical drawings, isometrics, specifications, and installation procedures for accuracy and constructability.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction management, quality teams, and commissioning personnel to ensure alignment on priorities.
• Identify and resolve field issues, clashes, or delays affecting mechanical and piping progress.
• Participate in punch listing, inspections, testing, and turnover activities.
• Support commissioning and handover teams during system testing, flushing, cleaning, and mechanical completion.
• Drive a strong safety culture, ensuring all activities meet the HSE standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 15 years of experience supervising mechanical and piping construction on major industrial projects.
• Proven experience with mining‑related mechanical systems and equipment, including conveyors, crushers, mills, tanks, and associated piping (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of mechanical installation practices, QA/QC requirements, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, specifications, and vendor documentation.
• Effective leadership skills with the ability to guide contractors and multidisciplinary field teams.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and planning capabilities.
• Must be an EU citizen or already authorised to work in Greece (visa sponsorship is not available due to project timelines).
