"TRS is looking for Eight (8) OFFSHORE ELECTRICIANS with knowledge of the LV distribution system (690 V, 440 V, 230V) Onboard a Heavy Lift / Pipelay/ Shipbuilding Vessel experience to join our International Client's JSD 6000 VESSEL based WORLDWIDE, CURRENTLY IN AUSTRALIA."
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Ensure the performance of electrical works activities following Foreman instructions and in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Perform or electronic wiring connections for equipment, circuit breakers, transformers, cabinets, and any other electrical apparatus.
- Ensure the works are carried out according to project drawings.
- Verify the equipment and materials are in good and safe operating conditions and report any anomalies to Foreman.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
- Accredited Tertiary Qualifications.
- 5 years of experience on the role, knowledge of the LV distribution system (690 V, 440 V, 230V).
- Capability to identify the right cable and protection to feed electrical user.
- Experience onboard a Heavy Lift / Pipelay/ Shipbuilding Vessel.
- Valid Offshore Certifications (Mandatory).
