Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and maintain electrical systems, motors, and control panels.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in mining equipment and infrastructure.
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades on-site.
Qualification and Skills Requirements:
- Valid Red Seal Certification as an Electrician.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in industrial or mining environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and mining regulations.
- Experience with high-voltage systems, PLCs, and automation is an asset.
- Ability to work in remote or challenging environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
