The Opportunity Our client, an industry leader in the Rail Manufacturing and Construction sector is looking for a General Manager to join their team. You will encompass strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with a sense of safety and urgency; ability to think logically, problem solve and think critically Responsibilities The General Manager will be responsible for day to day activities along with overseeing project teams and ensuing project deliverables. Knowledge of operational budgets, cost & corporate reporting, defining targets, timelines and deadlines are essential to this role. Strong knowledge of end to end contract management is highly desired. The ability to manage project plans ensuing customer satisfaction, defining scope of work and deliverables, including execution of equipment and manpower in support of the Project Team; Plan, organize and staff key field positions.
