For our client's project in the Rotterdam area we are currently searching for an experienced HSE Administrator. This position will report to the Project Site HSE Manager (or designate).
Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Participate and conduct daily HSSE meetings and inspections.
- Follow-up on site HSSE issues.
- Assist with the Coordination of HSSE Data collection with external contractors.
- Collection and management of Health and Safety Documentation.
- Analysis of completed documentation for completeness and follow up with staff/contractors.
- Documentation tracking to assess needs within organization.
- Management and retention control of critical documentation such as first aid and incident investigation documentation.
- Maintenance of HSSE data and KPIs compliance in software portals.
- Creation and maintenance of incident and injury tracking databases.
- Tracking health and safety statistics.
- Creation of toolbox talks and safety campaigns for specific work groups.
- Facilitate safety initiatives.
- Support on-site implementation of HSSE training programs.
- Support the implementation of emergency drills.
- Support the implementation of the Fluor Office HSSE program.
- Ensure lessons learned from incident investigations are disseminated to all employees and contractors throughout the site.
- Provide assistance, coaching and support to the construction and contractor teams for the elaboration and sharing of Health & Safety policies, standards and procedures aligned with the company’s requirements.
- Other duties as assigned by the Project Site HSSE Manager.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of health and safety management systems
- Strong analytical skills for understanding how to interpret data and trends.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook and online file sharing systems.
- Attitude & Professionalism to work with multiple different personalities.
- Able to influence without authority and collaboratively with site stakeholders.
- Prepare, maintain, interpret and communicate records, reports, or documents that may be required to meet corporate or regulatory requirements, including monitoring application of HSSE standards and goals through its programs.
- Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
- Strong organizational skills.
Typical Minimum Qualifications - Related Education, Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Health and Safety administrative support .
- General knowledge and understanding of office protocol and organization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and online file sharing systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both speaking and written. Knowledge of the Dutch language is highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to operate effectively in a multinational work environment.
Working Conditions:
- This is a site-based role, various levels of environmental site conditions exist including working in temporary office buildings.
