HSE Advisor

Our client, a leading EPCM with projects worldwide, is seeking a passionate HSE Advisor of Programs to join their team in Kitimat, BC.

Here is an exciting opportunity to join a megaproject in beautiful Kitimat British Columbia. You will be working with a growing EPCM with projects worldwide and joining a talented group of professionals all working towards one goal. This position includes longevity a great work-life balance rotation of 14/7, and world-class accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train subordinates to his/her area on HSE activities
- Assist in preparation of certification/classification programs
- Provide regulatory requirements and participate in monitoring and controlling HSE standards
- Plan, conduct and document work requiring independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria
- Promote, foster and adhere to Company HSE standards

Qualifications:
- 7+ years of progressive safety experience within a construction environment;
- Relevant education and/or safety designations;
- Experience on multiple megaprojects is a strong asset;
- Experience working for the prime-contractor on these megaprojects is also a plus;
