HVAC Designer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create and model HVAC equipment and ductwork in 3D using Hexagon Smart 3D.
• Generate HVAC drawings and accurately size ductwork.
• Design CAV and VAV systems, integrating HVAC equipment details from engineers into the 3D models/design drawings.
• Design HVAC equipment such as air handling units, condensing units, cooling coils, heating coils, pumps, electric heaters, and fans.
• Design BMS for diverse building types, including laboratories, dry rooms, control rooms, maintenance shops, warehouses, and administrative buildings.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of design experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Experience with Hexagon Smart 3D is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with codes, standards, and handbooks, including SMACNA.
• Must have experience in O&G, Chemicals, Industrial Manufacturing, or Nuclear
