Lead Commissioning FAT | CO-001

Position specific responsibilities and requirements:

The role will provide commissioning services of HV systems through Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), delivery, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and subsequent energisation of HV infrastructure for the South Flank Project.

This role will commence in Perth and require travel to switchroom fabricators and assemblers to complete the FAT. The role will then transition to a site based role for SAT and energisation stages of the project on a FIFO roster.

Responsible for ensuring that all electrical regulatory bodies, sites, government, safety, health and environmental procedures and standards are adhered to whilst undertaking all works.

Position required competencies and skills:

More than 5 years experience as an electrical engineer/ technician

More than 5 Years experience in high voltage switchgear and protection testing

Experience with pre-commissioning and commissioning of new equipment circuits and plants

Position required qualifications:

Must hold ‘A Grade’ Electrical Workers license, relevant trade certificate, diploma or engineering degree and experience as described above

Position desired experience, competencies and qualifications:

Prior experience in the start-up phase of a similar Iron Ore plant or project would be an asset

Demonstrable knowledge of 132/33kV GIS switchgear and protection relay systems

Good knowledge of PLC/Control Systems
