TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Lead Expeditor role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:
 

• Facilitate strategic negotiations with suppliers to enhance value across cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor procurement progress and proactively address risks to maintain schedule integrity.
• Lead a high-performing team of procurement and logistics professionals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, construction, and vendor teams to resolve logistical challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate operational efficiency and project outcomes.
• Ensure strict adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Design and execute tailored expediting strategies aligned with project timelines and deliverables.
• Oversee comprehensive tracking of materials and equipment from purchase through site delivery.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications
 

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven leadership experience in a project-driven environment
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and industry standards
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Proficiency in project management tools and ERP systems.
