TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Mechanical Services Engineering Lead role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:
 

• Lead the design and integration of mechanical systems for industrial buildings and infrastructure.
• Develop project specifications, design criteria, and performance standards.
• Conduct detailed engineering calculations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate bids and review vendor documentation.
• Coordinate with structural, electrical, and architectural disciplines to ensure seamless system integration.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to performance reviews and technical development.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and resource forecasting.
• Participate in client meetings and provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycle.
• Assist in developing internal standards and support quality audits.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications
 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 16 years of work experience.
• Professional Engineering license (P.Eng or PE) required.
• Proven leadership in managing large-scale engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical codes, standards, and materials.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in engineering software and project management tools.
• Background in mining, heavy industrial, or energy sectors.
• Familiarity with Canadian building codes and environmental regulations.
