Job Details
An excellent opportunity to work for one of the World’s most admired EPC oil and gas MNC’s company based in their India. They are dealing in EPC oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical, metal &mining and fertilizer projects.
The right candidate will speak fluent English, have the right to work in the India and having 20 + years’ experience in Quality and inspection at corporate as well site level.
Brief Description
Lead Quality and Inspection Engineer Should be from MNC’s EPC Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Refinery industry. Should be a team leader and individual contributor.
The major responsibilities are:
- Responsible for setting up and monitoring the QA – QC management system ensuring pro-active quality support to the assigned QA activities / project activities so as to meet Client and quality requirements.
- Prepare and/or review all the procedures necessary to be issued in the Projects.
- Leads, develops, and implements corporate, project system audits and quality plans.
- Promotes a Quality culture in Head Office and site , ensuring implementation of best practices and continuous improvement of quality standards and systems.
- Assists the discipline teams in the development procedures, specifications and standards.
- Provides quality training and awareness on quality activities planned.
- Participates actively in the risk assessment workshops.
- Implements an effective corrective and preventive action system and tracks closure of NCRs
- Conducts sample reviews of issued documents, procedures and specifications to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Ensures the project client satisfaction surveys are carried out as planned.
- Assists in the definition of project objectives (KPI), ensures reporting is in place, analyzes performance, proposes corrective or improvement actions and reports.
- Leads or participates in investigations to resolve quality issues, conducting root cause analysis, recommending corrective actions, and ensuring that they are effectively executed.
Qualifications
You must be able to demonstrate and evidence the following:
- Engineering Graduate with 20 – 28 years’ experience with epc company
- knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standard, QMS documentation.
- Strong influencing, communication, and facilitative skills
- Preferable to have knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and lean six sigma.
