Payroll Administrator

TRS Staffing is growing, and we have an opportunity for an Payroll Administrator to join our team. TRS combines local expertise with international market presence to serve many industry sectors, including oil and gas, power, mining, infrastructure, metals, chemicals, manufacturing and life sciences. Currently, TRS supports these industries around the world with a 4,000 strong contract workforce. This is a contract opportunity located in Southwest Calgary (Midnapore).

Some of the responsibilities for this role would be:
Import contractors’ hours into Great Plains Dynamics
Key all pay adjustments
Reconcile data entry to labor report
Print invoices and general excel invoices
Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll
Respond to all payroll inquiries
Issue ROE’s and submit to Service Canada
Update contractors’ master list
Process contractors’ expense and vendor payables

Qualifications:
3+ years of previous experience in a payroll position
Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certificate is an asset
Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills
Ability to problem solve, work collaboratively with the team and ability to deliver high quality work within tight deadlines
Strong organizational skills
Prior knowledge of Employee standards
