Petroleum Engineer (Economics & Strategy)

Here is an exciting opportunity with our global leading Oil and Gas client in Saudi Arabia as a Petroleum Engineer (Economics & Strategy)! You will have a chance to be directly involved with the Unconventional Reservoir Engineering Department and should have vast experience in the unconventional upstream Oil & Gas industry.

The successful candidate in this position should have expertise in economic evaluation, field development plans and investment decision analysis. The individual in this position will additionally act as a liaison with internal organizations for the client.

Job Duties:

• Take responsibility for development and economic evaluation performance
• In conjunction with multi-disciplinary teams, implement and strategize field development plans
• Short- and long-range planning, portfolio ranking within the business planning process
• Take part of commerciality assessment by carrying out economic modeling
• Use assessments of technical and financial variety to carry out risk and uncertainty processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering or related discipline; Advanced degree in Statistics or Petroleum economics would be an asset
• Required experience in unconventional hydrocarbon basins; unconventional greenfield development will be considered an asset
• 12-15 years of experience and knowledge in unconventional plays (tight sand, channel reservoir and shale)
