The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- 8-10 years planning/scheduling experience in Rail & Transit industry, or a mix of Rail and other industry experience.
- Experience in the rail sector is required.
- In-depth knowledge of EVM principals.
- People management or supervisory experience is a strong asset.
- Strong proficiency in Planning and Scheduling software such as Primavera P6
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring data integrity throughout the project life cycle.
- Prepare project status and progress reports for all project stakeholders.
- Forecast resource requirements based on work front analysis.
- Monitor and manage changes in project schedules, forecast impacts and suggest/implement corrective actions.
- Perform risk assessment and mitigation to ensure the timely delivery of planning and scheduling tasks.
- Conduct audits on project schedules generated by project teams and subcontractors.
- Measure project performance through the implementation of EVM plans.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project controls policies and guidelines.
- Oversee schedule integration processes and project change management.
- Support the proposal development and bidding processes of projects.
- Supervise, coach, and develop project controls personnel.
- Promote equity, diversity, and inclusion within the team.
- Ensure project compliance with company standards and contract requirements.
