Project Controls Supervisor

The Project Controls Lead [or Project Controls Manager] reports to the Project Manager & Construction Manager and has responsibility for all Project Controls functions on the project, including planning, schedule and estimate development, reporting, cost / schedule analysis, deviation control, and forecasting.

Project Controls Lead will be mobilized to site at construction effective date. Project Controls LEAD will report directly to the Project Manager.

The Project Controls Leads have the responsibility to know the details of the project Baseline, including the scope of work and to control the budget and schedule associated with that work, and to provide monthly status reporting information as required by prime contract and SacyrFluor internal requirements

• Develop Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work defined by the contract
• Develop totally integrated engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction (EPFC) schedules or cost control programs
• Recommend solutions or recovery plans to schedule or cost impact or delays
• As a Lead Scheduler analyze schedule, review delays, propose schedule recovery alternatives and presents them to internal groups as well as the client
• As Lead Cost Specialist maintain the cost system and provide required reports
• Analyze variances in cost and schedule performance against the plan, and communicate the reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed mitigation plans to Project Management
• Coordinate estimate development with the Project Estimator
• As Lead Cost Specialist provide Status of Reserves and Contingencies
• As Lead Cost Specialist coordinate the review of Project Profit/Risk Analysis with management and provide status reporting
• Supervise and manage the change management process
• Provide meaningful, accurate historical data
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
• Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
• Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff
• Update construction planning on a weekly basis
• Will have straight interaction with terminal planners
• Attend to progress and planning weekly meetings
• According to discipline supervisors re-schedule activities that has been passed on time
