Project Engineer

TRS is seeking a Project Engineer for a direct-hire position in northern Georgia.

Responsibilities Include:
• Complete engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements to ensure the goal of the project is obtained
• Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans by conferring with management and the customer
• Determine project responsibilities, identify project phases and elements, assign personnel to phases and elements, and review bids from contractors
• Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems
• Determine project specs by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards
• Complete technical studies, design proposals, and cost estimate analysis
• Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests
• Effectively communicate with both the customer and the project team
• Other duties as required

Requirements Include:
• BS in Engineering (Industrial/ Mechanical or similar)
• Prefer three years’ experience in a manufacturing facility
• Strong working knowledge of Solidworks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite including Project, Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
• Excellent Time Management, Project Management & Organizational Skills
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience a plus
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Including Excel, Word and Outlook
