Pump Machinery Engineer

Our client, a globally leading EPC company, are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pump Machinery Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role will involve providing technical support, analysis, and engineering solutions related to pumping machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze pump performance data to identify trends, problems, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement pump maintenance and repair strategies.
• Create and update pump technical documentation and procedures.
• Conduct pump failure investigations and root cause analysis.
• Assist in the selection and specification of new pumps and pumping systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams on pump-related projects.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and new pump technologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Machinery Pump Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of pump theory, hydraulics, and mechanics.
• Proficiency in electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
