A thrilling opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Risk and Contracts Manager to join the mining and metals business line, based in Liberia. This pivotal role offers the chance to be at the forefront of strategic risk management and contractual governance within a fast-paced and evolving industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks while ensuring robust contract compliance and alignment with operational and commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and achieving a desired future state (vision) through influence on organizational values, strategy, individual and group goals and processes.
- Communicate the vision and values showing commitment.
- Translate the vision into measurable goals.
- Delegation of authority and responsibility.
- Allocating decision-making authority and task responsibilities to appropriate subordinates; utilizing subordinates’ time, skills, and potential effectively
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, industry trends, and emerging risks relevant to the mining sector.
- Conduct risk assessments for new projects, expansions, and strategic initiatives, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or business law or equivalent experience required.
- 5–10 years of experience in risk management and contract administration, preferably within the mining, metals, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Requires field experience, familiarity with systems and the ability to develop effort-hour estimates.
- Ability to develop Contracting Plans and perform independent contract management on small- to medium-sized projects.
