Role Responsibilities

  • Design and implement communications networks associated with:
    • Plant Control Network
    • Power System Network
    • CCTV System
    • Access Control System
  • Develop High-Level Design (HLD) documentation.
  • Complete Cyber Vulnerability Assessments in collaboration with RT Cyber and IS&T teams.
  • Provide mentoring to less experienced engineers.
  • Participate in bid preparations, tender evaluations, and related project activities.
  • Communicate effectively with management, co-workers, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Follow client standards and apply them to specific solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Australian accredited tertiary qualifications.
  • Minimum of 16 years of industry experience, including 3–5 years in a project management role.
  • Strong technical competencies in:
    • Design, installation, and commissioning of Plant Control Networks in industrial environments.
    • Diagnosing and resolving Plant Control Network issues during commissioning.
    • Working in dynamic environments on major mining construction projects.
    • Understanding and following health and safety processes and procedures.
  • Significant design and vendor equipment experience in iron ore handling plants.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
