Position: Senior Project Manager

Are you an experienced leader in project management with a strong background in refinery or oil & gas environments? We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to take charge of complex capital projects from concept to completion. What You’ll Do

• Lead the early development and execution of medium to large-scale capital projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals.
• Build comprehensive project plans covering timelines, budgets, resources, and risk strategies.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain clear, consistent communication.
• Anticipate challenges, implement mitigation plans, and adapt to changing project needs.
• Oversee vendor relationships to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal teams—engineering, construction, project controls—to achieve project milestones.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports and presentations.
• Drive alignment across stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and keep projects on track.
• Ensure compliance with safety, cost, schedule, and quality standards throughout execution.

What You Bring

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (required).
• Experience: 15+ years in project management within engineering/construction, ideally in refinery or oil & gas facilities (brownfield and greenfield projects).
• Strong early-phase project experience with heavy process design engineering.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Financial acumen and strong organizational skills.
• Professional designation (P.Eng. or PMP) is an asset.
