Our client, a leader in offshore wind, are currently hiring Client Representatives to support on a out of service cable removal scope on a UK offshore wind project.

Role Overview
The Client Representative Offshore shall ensure that specific tasks are completed safely, on time, and with due-consideration and attention to the project requirements (RAMS) for the assigned scope of work.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the offshore client representative, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and in accordance with project requirements, RAMS, and quality standards.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with HSE, operational, and technical requirements, including offshore inspections, safety walks, and witnessing key activities.
  • Review project documentation, site data, daily progress reports, and operational records, ensuring accurate reporting of progress, downtime, and issues.
  • Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks, and project reviews, escalating safety, quality, and operational concerns where required.
  • Support incident investigations, quality inspections, non-conformance management, and progress monitoring throughout offshore operations.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the offshore renewable energy sector in a similar client representative or offshore supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore construction operations, cable removal activities, pre-lay grapnel runs, rigging, safety standards, and industry regulations (IMO, IMCA, ICPC).
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, monitor offshore activities, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Valid offshore medical certification, full GWO training (Sea Survival, Working at Height, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling), and right to work in the UK.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with working knowledge of GIS software (QGIS/ArcGIS) and strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Must have right to work in UK already in place.
