Location: Greenville/Mauldin, SC
Duration: Full time/Direct Hire
Compensation: $50,000-70,000
General Description:
Civil Drafting
Works closely with engineers and designers, preparing and developing exhibits, plans and construction documents for the following project types under the direction and guidance of a professional engineer:
- Linear Pipeline and Utility Design
- Drinking Water Distribution
- Sanitary Sewer Collection and Conveyance
- Stormwater Collection and Conveyance
- Water Resource Recovery Design
- Domestic Wastewater Treatment
- Industrial Wastewater Treatment & Pre-Treatment
- Potable Water Treatment
- Stormwater Management and Site Design
- Stormwater Retention and Detention Design
- Stream Restoration Design
- Low-Impact Development (LID) Designs
- Civil Site Development and Grading Design
- Commercial/Industrial/Residential
- Construction Documents & Supporting Exhibits
- Traffic Control Plans
- Easement Exhibits
- Erosion Prevention & Sediment Control Plans
- Construction Details
Field Surveying
Complete engineering field survey and data collection efforts using surface surveying and drone
equipment for the following types of projects:
- Overhead and Subsurface Utility Systems for As-Builts & Record Drawings
- Site Topographic & Existing Conditions
- Utility Locations (Valves, Manhole, Fire Hydrants, etc.) for Asset Management
- Construction & Site Layout
- Collection of Raster Imagery of Project Sites
Education and Ideal Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Minimum: High School Diploma
Preferred: Civil, Geomatics, Surveying, or related associate degree
Civil Drafting: 2+ years (Preferred)
Technical Capabilities:
Familiarity with general Civil and Environmental Engineering design
Familiarity with Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) design
Familiarity with Land Development (Surface) design
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D & ESRI ArcPRO/ArcMap
Microsoft Office / Google Suites proficiency (Word, Excel, Sheets, Docs, etc.)
