Contracts Administrator

A Mining operator is recruiting for a Contract Administrator to be based in London and work on an international project on a contract basis.

As Contracts Administrator you will be responsible for pre award and post award contract management activities on large scale contracts for a major project and work on all aspects of the contract.

The Contract Administrator will have significant, established experience in all aspects of the contracting lifecycle including:

• Development of contracting strategies/risk assessment
• Prequalification
• Formulation of tender packages
• Bid evaluation, conditioning and negotiation including terms and conditions
• Contract formulation
• Claims prevention and post award management

An extensive knowledge of cost control / reporting and change control is required.

The successful candidate will interface with subcontractors, construction, project controls and project management teams, as well as having an interface with key clients. Mining experience is preferred but candidates from other heavy industries such as construction , oil&gas and nuclear will be considered.
