Job Title: Corporate Affairs Lead – Wind Energy Projects
Overview: TRS is hiring for a leading Renewable Power Producer for a Corporate Affairs Lead who will be responsible for managing all government, regulatory, and local authority engagements essential for developing and commissioning wind energy projects across CTU, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Karnataka. The role involves securing project approvals, coordinating with DISCOMs and transmission utilities, ensuring compliance with state and central regulations, and supporting project execution teams with timely clearances and documentation. This position requires strong stakeholder management, an understanding of energy-sector regulations, and the ability to navigate multi‑state approval processes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Government & Regulatory Coordination
- Coordinate with CTU and RLDC for all connectivity submissions, approvals, and permissions including CAT 1 and CAT 2.
- Engage with state and central renewable energy agencies—GEDA, RRECL, KREDL—for mandatory project approvals.
- Prepare and process applications for NOCs, permits, licenses, and renewable energy compliance documentation.
- Liaise with DISCOMs and state transmission companies for connectivity and power evacuation requirements:
- Gujarat: GETCO, DGVCL, UGVCL, PGVCL, MGVCL
- Rajasthan: JVVNL, AVVNL, JDVVNL
- Karnataka: BESCOM, MESCOM, HESCOM, GESCOM, CESC
- Follow up with SLDCs for scheduling permissions and grid integration approvals.
- Coordinate with state nodal agencies (KREDL, RRECL, GEDA, etc.) for GO, DP approvals, and project registrations.
- Facilitate EHV line-related approvals including Section 68, Section 164, DC approvals, and related statutory requirements.
- Monitor, track, and report updates on policy and regulatory developments.
2. Local Authority Liaison
- Interface with district administrations, panchayat offices, and local governing bodies for project-related permissions.
- Ensure compliance with state-specific land regulations and project development norms.
3. Documentation & Reporting
- Draft official letters, applications, submissions, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain state-wise approval trackers with updated statuses.
- Provide weekly and monthly progress reports to project leadership and internal stakeholders.
4. Project Execution Support
- Plan and coordinate site inspections, verification visits, and compliance assessments.
- Communicate approval timelines, regulatory updates, and milestone progress to internal teams.
- Assist in execution of agreements with utilities, DISCOMs, and regulatory authorities.
- Support commissioning approvals from CTU, CEIG, and other relevant agencies.
