The HSE Manager will be responsible for managing health and safety matters on construction projects, including developing and monitoring safety plans and leading the HSE team.
Location: On-site - Płock, Poland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively manage contractual obligations related to HSE between the Client and the General Contractor (including formal correspondence, monitoring compliance, and ensuring required documentation and formalities are completed).
- Develop and oversee the implementation of the site-specific Safety Plan.
- Manage overall HSE activities on behalf of the client, including team leadership.
- Monitor implementation of project HSE standards.
- Review safety-related plans such as Safety Plans, BIOZ, IBWR (RAMS), and STAs (Safety Task Assignments) to ensure compliance.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and implement site management directives in line with contractual and project requirements.
- Prepare HSE sections for weekly and monthly reports.
- Promote safe work practices and raise awareness of HSE standards among project staff.
- Support programs aimed at improving personal safety.
- Conduct inspections, assessments, and investigations as needed.
- Advise and support the Project Management Team on HSE programs and methods.
- Review HSE reports and provide recommendations on incidents.
- Monitor mandatory incident investigations and assist the Client as required.
- Perform regular on-site HSE supervision and prepare reports.
- Track and update safety statistics as required.
- Provide data for reporting purposes.
Requirements:
- Availability to work on industrial construction projects in Poland.
- Degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Minimum 10 years of HSE experience, including 5 years in a similar role.
- Experience in the industrial sector, preferably petrochemical.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
