Job Description:
• A self- starter and efficient designer/ checker in facility designs and layouts with broad knowledge of technical applications, maintenance, operation, and clearance constraints of structural, mechanical, controls, and electrical equipment systems Qualified candidate will be responsible for reviews engineering work, such as engineering drawings wrt piping, for Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical projects.
• Applies broad knowledge of engineering principles and practices to project engineering.
• Control day- to- day technical work of discipline, designers and drafters.
• Coordinates assigned engineering work with other project groups/ disciplines.
• Provides technical guidance and interfaces with the day- to- day technical work of discipline engineers, designers and drafters, in addition to mentoring them through provision of appropriate on- the- job training.
• Broad knowledge of piping codes and standards like ASME B 31.3, B 31.1, B 31.4 B 31.8 API, NFPA, IBR etc.
• Knowledge of systems, equipment, plot plan, plant layout, development of project deliverables within the discipline.
• Knowledge and understanding of technical and cost issues related to selection of design features within the discipline.
• Knowledge of engineering work planning and control methods.
• Knowledge of precedents in the discipline and of principles and practices of related disciplines. Knowledge of related construction practices and the economics involved.
• Performs quality control reviews for compliance to Client design standards.
• Performs non- technical drawing reviews for compliance to standards for borders, blocks, text, CAD standards, notes, call- outs, and view requirements to adequately depict the design intent Able to check Isometrics, equipment layout, piping GAReview of model in naviswork Review of P&ID.

Qualifications:
• Diploma/ITI in engineering
