• Provide assistance to assemble, test and maintain manufacturing and lab equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs and calibration on tools and equipment
• Troubleshoot root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions
• Perform regular inspections to identify and correct equipment malfunctions
• Use equipment tracking systems to keep track of equipment and tool history
• Read and follow manuals, diagrams, schematics for equipment operations, repairs, and maintenance
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components such as motor starters, relays, limit switches, photoelectric sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, linear drives, encoders
• Develop and update preventive maintenance and repair procedures
• Clean and lubricate equipment on a regular basis
• Maintain inventory control of spare parts and consumables
• Propose opportunities to enhance equipment performance and reliability
• Perform root cause analysis on critical issues and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Respond to equipment issues in a timely manner
• Monitor equipment effectiveness
• Identify and correct equipment inaccuracies or inefficiencies
• Assist engineering and manufacturing teams on improvement projects
• Assist with equipment qualification, experiments, and data collection
• Assist with software upgrades and enhancements
• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment
• Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance of equipment.
• Perform service and maintain equipment such as conveyors, soldering machine, laminators, and assembly equipment
• Lead or participate in activities pertaining to workflow and process improvements
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Associate’s Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school
• 4+ years of experience in equipment installation, repair, and maintenance
• Shift schedule: Night (11:00pm ~ 6:00am), willingness to work overtime
