Our Client, a globally leading EPC is looking for a Planner to join their team on a contract basis based in the Farnborough office.
  • Initial 12 month contract (could be 3 years)
  • Outside IR35
  • Hybrid working 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and validate and cost / planning information from various EPCM contractors to support the roll up of reporting information to the end-client.  Each cost or planning engineer will be expected to challenge the EPCM Contractors and make recommendations for actions by the Contractors or interventions by the end-Client.
  • Assist the Planning Manager in developing programme structures, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), calendars, and dates aligned with the Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) and Employer’s data dictionary.
  • Develop cost and resource-loaded programmes during submission in accordance with delivery milestones.
  • Ensure programmes meet all required access dates, milestones, and key dates in compliance with Employer’s planning requirements and contract data.
  • Contribute to programme risk assessments and risk analysis, including mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and manage the overall planning schedule for construction activities.
  • Collaborate with the Head Office Planning Manager to integrate engineering, procurement, and construction deliverables.
  • Provide progress reports and re-forecasting updates to the Client and Site Manager throughout the construction phase.
  • Manage interface planning with EPC and EPCM contractors, including delay analysis and mitigation strategies.
  • Analyse delays and implement catch-up plans to maintain project timelines.
  • Support documentation control and planning team coordination as required.

  • Relevant degree.
