Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce the Group procurement policy and governance when procuring any goods and services.
- Ensure good relations with suppliers and vendors and build up a vendor database.
- Support the implementation and roll out of digital tools for procurement such as the ERP system.
- Provide support in G&A purchasing matters to other regional offices: share the knowledge and support when required on G&A suppliers and global contracts.
- Consolidate the requirements from the entities, consult the market, identify opportunities to implement framework agreements and work closely with entities to place contracts and purchase orders.
- Support the implementation and roll out of digital tools for procurement such as the ERP system.
- Good understanding and experience in the procurement processes: Source to Pay, Procure to Pay, Manage your Supplier Panel, Management Categories.
- Identify and select the best sourcing channel and reference amongst the pre-negotiated framework (suppliers, contracts, catalogs).
- Convert low-to-moderate spend/risk purchase requisitions, covered under contract, to a purchase order (PO), approve Po’s up to a specified amount.
- Provide suppliers with valid delivery dates and support order expediting; Track incoming deliveries (reminders)
- Provide reliable and comprehensive reports and feedback, in order to improve the efficiency of the procurement strategy and supplier performance plan.
- Ensure adherence to organisational Policies, Governance, Rules, Processes, Tools (incl ERP & P2P process), KPIs, Digital Transformation, Performance, Expertise in excel and power BI, smart data analysis, etc.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ functional experience across procurement, supply chain, and logistics operations.
- Experience in operational procurement preferably in power plants.
- CIPS level 4 or higher is preferred.
- Good knowledge of digital tools including ERP systems (SAP, Maximo, MS Dynamics etc.), Advance Excel, Power BI, MS Office applications etc.
