Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Electrical Coordinator responsible for coordinating and monitoring quality assurance activities related to electrical installations carried out by contractors. The role also includes developing, implementing, and overseeing the Quality Management System on-site, in accordance with the requirements of the petrochemical project.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Quality Assurance Manual for electrical installations.
- Prepare quality requirements for orders and contracts in the electrical scope.
- Introduce quality audits into the project plan in cooperation with the Project Quality Manager.
- Train site personnel on the quality assurance program for electrical works.
- Align the quality team organization with the Construction Manager.
- Review and approve contractors’ quality programs and inspection & test plans for electrical installations.
- Identify inspections requiring the client’s representative participation.
- Verify non-destructive testing (NDT) for electrical components for compliance with standards and specifications.
- Define equipment needs and calibration parameters for electrical inspections.
- Develop quality procedures specific to electrical installations.
- Monitor electrical works through inspections, observations, and audits.
- Report inspection and audit results and oversee corrective actions.
- Coordinate the team performing inspections, tests, and audits in the electrical area.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve non-conformities.
- Implement non-conformity control procedures and analyze quality trends.
- Participate in meetings with contractors to discuss electrical quality issues.
- Verify electrical test reports for compliance with contract requirements.
- Ensure completeness and archiving of quality documentation for electrical installations.
Requirements:
- Technical education (preferred: electrical engineering, automation, quality engineering).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC for electrical installations on EPC projects.
- Knowledge of ISO, PN, IEC, ATEX standards and NDT procedures.
- Experience on large industrial projects (Oil & Gas, petrochemicals).
- Ability to conduct audits and training sessions.
- Proficiency in English sufficient for working with technical documentation.
- Quality certifications (e.g. ISO 9001 Auditor, NDT Level II/III, SEP) are a plus.
