Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned consultant with deep expertise in refinery operations to help clients achieve operational excellence, drive digital transformation, and improve performance across refining assets. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience, strategic insight, and a strong understanding of emerging technologies to lead impactful initiatives in safety, reliability, efficiency, and margin enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:

Operational Assessment:
Evaluate current refinery workflows, KPIs, and systems to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities. -
Strategic Initiative Leadership:
Lead projects focused on production optimization, energy efficiency, turnaround planning, reliability, and margin improvement. -
Digital Transformation:
Recommend and implement innovative solutions using the latest industry technologies and trends. -
Client Engagement:
Facilitate workshops with client teams to gather requirements, assess feasibility, and define implementation roadmaps aligned with enterprise digital strategies. -
Solution Design & Implementation:
Develop and deploy operations management solutions including:- Operations Logbook
- Task Management
- Digital Operating Procedures (DOPs)
- Operating Instructions
- Digital Troubleshooting Tools

Technology Deployment:
Lead or support end-to-end implementation of digital platforms such as:- Operations Management Suites (e.g., Honeywell Forge OM, AVEVA Production Management, Yokogawa OMS)
- Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Performance Dashboards

Post-Implementation Support:
Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and system optimization post-deployment. -
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define performance goals and accountability frameworks.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- 5–15 years of experience in refinery operations or consulting
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- In-depth knowledge of operating procedures, task management, and compliance in process industries
- Hands-on experience with Operations Management Suites (Honeywell, AVEVA, Yokogawa)
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications for predictive analytics is a plus
