Key Responsibilities:
- Design and configure SCADA systems, including HMI screens, alarms, and data acquisition.
- Integrate SCADA with PLCs, RTUs, and other field devices.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Monitor and maintain system performance and implement preventive maintenance.
- Provide technical support and resolve SCADA-related issues promptly.
- Ensure SCADA systems adhere to cybersecurity best practices and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain procedures for system emergencies.
- Prepare technical documentation, user manuals, and system diagrams.
- The postholder is expected to adhere to all Legislative requirements the GEPZafiro 9 Lifesaving Rules and the GEPZAFIRO Values Train operators and maintenance personnel on SCADA functionality.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related field.
- ISA Certified Automation Professional (CAP).
- SCADA vendor-specific certifications.
- 3-5 years of experience in SCADA system design and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with major SCADA platforms.
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols, networks, programming languages and computer security systems.
- Proficiency in scripting and database management (SQL).
- Familiarity with networking and cybersecurity principles.
