Senior Landscape Architect

We have an exciting opportunity to work on a high profile project in the Middle East with one of the oldest and well established project management consultancy in Kuwait for an international airport project.

The Senior Landscape will be member of the Architecture Team, and he will be assisted by Landscape Inspector.
He/ She will be responsible for quality control of hard and soft landscape works.

His / Her responsibilities will include:
• Inspection of plants at source to ensure conformance to the requirements of species, size and appearance, as set forth in the drawings and specifications.
• Review and approval of hardscape materials such as pavers, lighting fixtures, kerbs, site furnishings, including approval of “mock up” layouts.
• Review and approve plant locations after the contractor has ‘staked’ these.
• Inspect and supervise planting operations to ensure that work is carried out according to drawings and specifications.
• Follow-up on the Contractor’s progress to ensure timely completion of work.
• Address and resolve day to day site issues and problems common in any supervision contract.
• Provide advice on any potential variations to the contract.

Minimum requirements:
• 15+ years experience
• must have a Bachelor's degree
• GCC, Europe and United States Airport projects experience is an advantage
• Worked for construction supervision consultants on MEP works
• Worked on international airport construction projects
